Vacation Day 4

Scarborough/Portland/Freeport, ME - Day 4 brought lighthouse looking and LLBean. Ryan started his day with a yummy cup of pineapple.

Our first stop was at Two Lights lighthouse. There used to be 2 lighthouses there, but the second is now a private residence. We explored the rocky shore and admired our first stop. Unfortunately, we could not get very close to the lighthouse.

Here we got a nice family picture overlooking the ocean.

The second stop was Portland Head lighthouse. If you are familiar with lighthouses, you have had to see a picture of this. We were able to walk up to the light and explore around it.

Ryan reached out and touched the lighthouse.

After lunch, we went to Spring Point lighthouse. This was around an old fort. You can walk out to it, but Mommy opted not to. Ryan did not explore these grounds.

Here is Spring Point with a lobster boat coming around it.

Finally we visited Portland Breakwater Lighthouse, aka Bug Light (Daddy thought is was going to be Bud Light...was he slightly disappointed).
As you can see, you can walk up to and around the light to see views of Portland. Again, Ryan did not explore these grounds.

The last stop of the day was LL Bean. We looked around the store and then headed back for dinner.

After a dinner in, Ryan was ready for bed. Tonight he was a superhero ready to take on the Pack N Play. We are all safer knowing we are being protected by the Super Toddler.

Day 5 will be Daddy, Mommy and Ryan's day of fun. We are on our own and have not finalized our plans yet. Stay tuned.
