A New Al In Town

Woodbridge - After a fun day of grocery shopping, splish splash park and a nice nap, Ryan went to the mall.  He got some new WoodyBuzz shoes, Daddy got some socks and Mommy got shoes.  Ryan also went to Build-A-Bear and made a panda.  He stuffed him, brushed him and gave him a birth certificate.  When the lady asked him what he was going to name his panda, he thought for a second and finally decided on Al (pronounced Aeel) after his Peapooh.  Al is now making his home here with us.

The Splish Splash Park

Woodbridge - Ryan's neighborhood has a fun spray park.  Mommy and Daddy took him there for the very first time this weekend.  Ryan was hesitant at first, but eventually had fun playing around the water.  We didn't stay long because Ryan was ready for his nap, but we will go back again soon.

Father's Day Gift

Woodbridge - This is the tie that Ryan made at school for Daddy for Father's Day.

Happy Father's Day

Woodbridge - Ryan helped Daddy celebrate his third Father's Day very low key.  First he allowed Daddy to sleep in a little while, then they had breakfast, gave Daddy his presents and played ball together.  Daddy had a nice day.

"Swimming" with Bel Bel

Gloucester - On Saturday Ryan finally got to break out a bathing suit and hop in the pool with Bel Bel.  We took a quick visit to Mammy's house and Ryan enjoyed his time splashing in Bel Bel's pool.  Despite the fact that he was shivering (teeth chatters and all), he refused to get out of the pool.  Thanks to Bel Bel for sharing.

The Zoo

Washington, DC - On Saturday Mommy and Daddy took Ryan on our second summer outing.  This time we went to the National Zoo.  It was a beautiful day in the low 80s...perfect weather for walking around outside.  We saw lots of animals including monkeys and elephants and lions and turtles and prarie dogs and antelopes and alpacas and donkeys and cows.  Ryan loved seeing all the animals and even walking around a little.  Unfortunately the pandas and the tigers weren't out.
