Awesome Activity

Woodbridge - Daddy's friends Kevin and Candace gave Ryan a really cool activity mat. Ryan loves to lay under all the fun toys and bat at them with his hands and kick them. He loves to watch the star light up and listen to the music it makes. On Sunday, he played by himself on the mat so Mommy and Daddy could clean out the freezer. Ryan will have a lot of fun time to come on his activity mat.

Muscles

Woodbridge - Ryan has a bit of a vanity streak in him. Recently he has wanted to show of his guns. Many times a day Mommy and Daddy catch him kissing his muscles.

A Beautiful Day

Woodbridge - Saturday was such a warm and beautiful day that Mommy took Ryan outside for some fresh air. He really liked it, but was unsure about the grass on his feet.

Bumbo Baby

Woodbridge - Mommy had been thinking about getting a Bumbo seat because Ryan loves to sit up and look around at what is going on. On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy bought a seat and let Ryan try it out. He really liked sitting in it and even watched a little "Star Wars: A New Hope" with Daddy.

Happy Easter

Woodbridge - The Easter Bunny visited Ryan and brought him sme really cool things. His bucket was filled with a new shark bath mit, Disney's "Three Muskateers" on DVD, two books and a pair of sunglasses. One of the books is about baby animals and some are furry. The other book is about finding Spot. The coolest gift of all was the sunglasses. Ryan is looking forward to a cool summer in his shades.

More New Friends

Washington, DC - On Saturday Mommy and Daddy took Ryan to DC to meet some new friends. They went to the Stack's house to see Brian and Brandy. Also there was Miss Leondra and Zoe. Zoe is several months older than Ryan, but he had a good time interacting with her. He also liked hanging out with Brian and Brandy and seeing Isaac again. He left hoping to see all of them again soon.

Down With the Street

Woodbridge - While Mommy and Daddy were trying to get ready to go to Wegman's on Saturday, they decided to put on Sesame Street for Ryan. When Elmo's World came on, Ryan became very interested and watched the many ways to play with a ball. This is probably the beginning of a long love with Sesame Street.

First Day of Daycare

Alexandria - Monday was Ryan's first day at daycare. According to the teachers, he did really well and only cried when he was hungry. It put Mommy and Daddy's mind at ease to know he did so well. Hopefully things will continue to go as smoothly. It helped Mommy that he was so close that she could go visit him at lunch.

Easter Bunny

Woodbridge - On Saturday afternoon, Grammy, Mommy and Daddy took Ryan and his cousin Belle to see the Easter Bunny. Ryan wasn't too sure what to ask for in his Easter basket, but his cousin Belle asked for a new DVD.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Woodbridge - Today was Daddy's birthday and Ryan helped him celebrate. He helped him blow out the candles and open his presents. Mommy and Daddy even let Ryan try a little of the frosting. Of course he thought it was yummy. Ryan gave Daddy "Mallrats" on DVD, but Daddy says he can't watch it until he gets much older.
