Flashback Photo of the Week

Here is Ryan on his very first Halloween.  He went trick or treating at the mall with his buddy James.  As you can see, he was Darth Vader.

Happy Halloween

Woodbridge - Frankenstein invaded our home on Halloween and then terrorized the neighborhood demanding  asking for candy.  The little monster was excited to start out, but Mommy ended up carrying him from house to house.  He ended up getting a nice amount of loot.  Mommy and Daddy let him have one piece of chocolate before going to bed.

Happy Halloween!!!!!!

Eyes

As you can see, Ryan had an exhausting day.  Check out the bloodshot eyes.

Pumpkin Patch

Centreville - On Saturday, Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, Grumpy and Ryan went to Cox Farm to the pumpkin patch.  The farm had giant slides, animals to pet, a hayride and all sorts of fun things to play in/on.  When we left Ryan got a free pumpkin.

Flashback Photo of the Week

A year ago Ryan was really starting to get around on his own.  He had mastered crawling and was pulling up and cruising.  He loved to pull himself up on whatever he could get his hands on and look around.  The window was and still is a favorite place.

Surfing

Woodbridge - On Sunday afternoon Ryan decided to do a little web surfing.  He checked out some Elmo and Snuffy and Cookie videos.  He also checked in on Mommy and Daddy's fantasy football teams (both were kicking butt) and finally he looked at his blog.  It was a nice way to kill time.

Flashback Photo of the Week

This  was a rarety a year ago.  We struggled to get Ryan to nap anywhere other than on Mommy or Daddy.  When he did fall asleep somewhere, we would just cover him up and let him be.

More Lessons in Ryanese

This is Mitchy, but it started out as Meat.

This is Snoofy.

This is Nuffy.  For some reason we hear this a lot.

And these are french fries.  Not sure why, but when we went out for Mexican and these were delivered to the table, Ryan called them french fries and wanted to eat so many that he didn't really want his quesadilla.

Pants Removal

Woodbridge - Ryan is becoming more and more independent.  He likes to undress himself at night and take his own pants off.  It is quite the process (as documented below), but he is very proud when he succeeds.  Unfortunately he thinks he can remove his shirt the same way he removes his pants.

Potty Talk

Woodbridge - We have started talking about the potty with Ryan and trying to get him to understand what it is all about.  We now ask Ryan if his stuffed animals have to go pee pee.  He will then place each on the potty (some with reading material) to let them do their business.

Wait For It

This is just a regular video of Ryan at the playground.  Wait for the end.

Animal Sounds

What Happens After the Grocery Store

Woodbridge - Each Saturday you can guarantee that as soon as we leave Wegman's, Ryan will fall asleep.  He won't sleep on long car rides, he doesn't sleep on the way home from school, but he will always fall asleep after a morning of shopping.

Happy Birthday Isabel!

Happy Birthday to Ryan's favorite cousin.  Today she turns the big 5.  This is the last year you can count your age on one hand.

Here is a fun flashback video from 4 years ago on Belle's 1st birthday.  Aunt K, Uncle J and Ryan hope it is a great day.

Happy Anniversary

Seven years ago today Ryan's Mommy and Daddy were married.  Because these two people fell in love, a wonderful little boy came into this world.

Flashback Photo of the Week

Here is Ryan getting in some box play.  He enjoyed crawling in and out of the box his new carseat came in.  It is nice to have cheap entertainment.

49ers Fan

Woodbridge - If Daddy has anything to do with it, Ryan will be a BIG 49ers fan.  Here is one way Ryan shows his 49ers pride.

Belle's Birthday Party - Jump Jump

Gloucester - On Saturday Belle (Ryan's cousin) had her 5th birthday party.  The party was at Airheads in Gloucester.  This is a really cool place that has bunches of bounce houses and other toys to play with.  She had a bunch if her friends show up and had a great time.  Ryan had so much fun running all around the place.
