On the Fourth Day of Christmas

Gloucester/Woodbridge - The fourth day of Christmas was going home.  Daddy some how got all the presents in the car and we were headed home after a wonderful time with family.  We still had our own gifts to exchange.  Again, Ryan only slept in the car...not a great nap.  We arrived home and unloaded the car of all of our loot.  Mommy and Daddy sorted through everything and tried to get some order in the house.

After dinner we opened our gifts to each other.  Mommy and Daddy gave Ryan really cool gifts of DVDs, clothes and some more Handy Manny toys.  Ryan gave Daddy new headbang and he gave Mommy a pretty necklace and a calendar of Ryan.

On the Third Day of Christmas (Christmas Day)

Gloucester/Mathews - The third day of Christmas was chocked full of family and presents.  Ryan and Bel started the morning checking out their goods from Santa.  They both woke up Mammy so we could get started opening presents.  Unfortunately just as we were about to sit down the phone rang and Mammy had to go to work because the alarm was going off.  It turned out to be a false alarm and Mammy and Aunt Cheech returned quickly.  After eating breakfast, we opened all of our gifts.  Ryan got clothes and toys and even big boy underwear.  He wore them for 2 1/2 hours without any accidents.

After presents we enjoyed a yummy lunch of ham, roast beef, mashed potatoes, baked apples and other delights.  Again, Ryan got a very short nap before we went to Grandma Ruby's to celebrate.  There we enjoyed a couple hours with Grandma, Aunt Jane and Timmy.  Bel and Ryan got really cool gifts, but they just wanted to play in the box that the presents were delivered.

In the evening we headed to Mathews to celebrate with Mammy's side of the family.  Ryan had fun playing with his cousins and getting even more presents.  We ended the day stopping to see Meemaw and Pop because they couldn't make the celebration.  Phew...what an exhausting day.

On the Second Day of Christmas (Christmas Eve)

Williamsburg/Gloucester - On the second day of Christmas, we woke up at Grammy and Bumpy's house to finish opening our presents.  This was when Ryan found all the toys from Grammy and Bumpy.  We had a nice time at their house.

Around midday we headed to Mammy and Peapooh's house.  Ryan took his nap in the car and that was it for the day.  While Mommy did a lot of wrapping, Ryan played with Bel Bel and Daddy watched TV.  When the evening rolled around it was time for our Christmas Eve traditions.  Mikey came over to exchange gifts and throw wrapping paper in the ceiling fan, Ryan and Bel spread reindeer dust and set out a plate for Santa and we all opened new Christmas Eve pajamas.  We also said goodby to Donald until next year.

On the First Day of Christmas

Williamsburg - On our first day of Christmas we spent time with Grammy and Bumpy.  We started the day by visiting Santa at Yankee Candle.  Ryan was excited to see and speak to Santa again.  He reminded him that he wanted a computer and scissors for Christmas.

After returning and Ryan taking a nice nap (his only good nap the whole weekend) we began to open presents.  Ryan, Daddy and Mommy all got really nice gifts.  Before we finished we called it a night to finish the next morning.
