This Is the Way You Grocery Shop

Woodbridge - Every Saturday Mommy, Daddy and Ryan go to Wegman's for groceries. A couple weeks ago Ryan was very sleepy and did not want to wake up when we arrived. For most of the shopping trip he slept just like this in the grocery cart. Many people in the store got a chuckle out of it.

Flashback Photo of the Week

This was taken on Ryan's one month birthday (2/28/09). He had already grown so much and was developing such a personality. This is one of many shots we have of him laying on his blanket in the floor.

Trucks

Woodbridge - A common event in our house is trucks on the coffee table. Sometimes we push them back and forth, sometimes we crash them into each other and sometimes we roll them off the table. We love trucks (and Duck Truck too).

Privacy Please

Woodbridge - As you can see, Ryan takes his diapers in the bathroom and needs his privacy.

A Little Light Reading

Woodbridge - Ryan's carseat was in the house, so Ryan took some time to sit back and enjoy reading about shapes. Obviously it was quite intriguing.

Flashback Photo of the Week

This photo was taken February 24, 2009. Ryan wasn't quite one month old. He was so tiny.

New Bed

Woodbridge - On Saturday Mommy and Daddy got Ryan a new bed. He helped pick it out and was really excited about it. As you can see, it also tastes good.

Texting

Woodbridge - Mommy has tried to explain to Ryan that we do not have a texting plan, but he keeps on doing it. What could he even be texting when he can't even write?

Flashback Photo of the Week

This photo was taken Valentine's Day when Ryan first met his friend James. James was born the day after Ryan. When they get together, they have lots of fun playing.

Here is Mommy holding Ryan and Jen (James' mommy) holding James.

Toys Toys Toys

Woodbridge - As you can see, Ryan has a lot of toys. One of his favorite past times is pulling them all out and strewing them across the floor. Soon we need to learn clean up.

Blizzard 2010

Woodbridge - Mommy, Daddy and Ryan were not home when it snowed during the blizzard of 2010, but they definately have had to deal with the after effects. On Tuesday, Ryan went outside to experience the snow for himself.

This was taken February 11th after returning from the doctor for Ryan's 2 week check up. He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces.

Ryan's Birthday - Part II

Gloucester/Yorktown - Ryan left the snowyness of NOVA to go celebrate his birthday in Gloucester, but it really wasn't meant to be. The snow came down in Gloucester, forcing his birthday party to be canceled. We still had a small celebration with Grammy, Peapooh, Aunt Skeeta, Belle, Mommy and Daddy. Ryan opened presents, smashed his 5th cake (he has to be an expert by now) and was excited to celebrate.
Before leaving Grammy and Grumpy's, he did open his presents there too.

First Haircut

Gloucester - Ryan's hair has gotten really long and always in his eyes. Eventhough Mommy has trimmed it once, he really needed a good cut. Aunt Skeeta was nice enough to cut his hair to get it out of his face. Now he looks even more handsome than he did before. Thanks Aunt Skeet.

Blue Man

Yorktown - While visiting with Grammy and Grumpy Ryan got a very special treat. Grammy had bought him a Cookie Monster cupcake to eat. He has become an expert at smashing cakes, so he had a bunch of fun. He even shared with Mommy. After it was over, Ryan could have joined the Blue Man Group.
