New Toys

Woodbridge - Because Ryan is learning to grab and interact more, Mommy and Daddy have pulled out some new toys for him to play with. On Sunday morning Ryan played with a toy that he grab and make play music. He learned pretty quickly if he hit it, the music would start. He spent nearly 45 minutes entertaining himself. Also, he tried his exersaucer on Sunday evening. He can't quite sit in it without a little blanket help and he can't reach the toys yet, but he really likes to look at them.

MMMMMMM...Rice Cereal

Woodbridge - Ryan had his 4 month check up on Saturday and was given a clean bill of health. He is currently just over 14 lbs and 24 inches. Because he is growing so big, Ryan was cleared to start rice cereal. At first he wasn't really sure what this thing that Mommy was sticking in his mouth; then he realized it was good. He seemed a little upset when it was all gone. Now Mommy and Daddy have one more thing to add to the bedtime routine.

Joining The Party

Woodbridge - It seemed whenever Mommy had a meal in her hands, Ryan decided that was the time he was going to have a total meltdown. Needless to say, Mommy has not had a hot meal in quite some time. Mommy and Daddy decided that if maybe Ryan were part of the meal-time festivities that Mommy might be able to eat her meal in peace. Ryan was introduced to his high chair on Monday and really liked it. He may not be eating his own food there, but he really liked being up on Mommy and Daddy's level. Just wait until he gets his own meals there, instead of just toys.

A Blessing

Gloucester - On April 25th, Ryan was christenend by the the same minister that married Mommy and Daddy. He wore the same outfit Daddy was christened in nearly 33 years ago. Despite dealing with a cold and pink eye, Ryan did very well and never even fussed. He loved seeing and meeting new family and spending time with his godparents, the Abi-Saabs.

Mommy or Daddy?

As Ryan gets older, he starts looking more and more like Daddy. However, Mommy thinks that he has some of her characteristics as well. You be the judge!
