Halloween Party

Alexandria - Ryan has made some very good friends at school, and one especially is Payton.  Payton is pretty possesive of Ryan and always wants him to sit next to her and play with her.  This weekend Payton threw a Halloween party and invited several friends over.  He was able to play with several kids from school and new kids he just met.

All the kids had tons of fun playing with Payton's toys and even a pinata.  Hopefully we can get together again outside of school.

Pumpkin Patch

Chantilly - On Saturday we took a family trip to Cox Farms and enjoyed the fall festivities.  They have hay rides and giant slides and animals.  Ryan loved the slides and wanted to do them all by himself.  It didn't matter how big, he wanted to tackle every one of them.

The Oh Oh Song

The Car - Ryan's new favorite song os the Oh Oh Song, aka BonJovi's Living on a Prayer.  He insists that we listen to it over and over and now he knows almost every word.  Here is a sampling.

Ryan's Friend's Name

Alexandria - This month's unit at school is neighbors and neighborhoods.  Mommy and Daddy dropped off Ryan the other morning and this was hanging on the door.  The teachers asked each of the kids what is their friend's name and this is what Ryan said.

Monies

A conversation with Ryan in the car:

Ryan: "Mommy, do you have any monies?"
Mommy: "No baby, I am broke."
Ryan: "You're broke?  Is Daddy's monies fixed?"

What else can you do but laugh?

Fishing

Williamsburg - Ryan visited Grammy and Bumpy at their new house.  Just down the street is a small pond full of fish.  Bumpy took Ryan (with his new Star Wars fishing pole) out to reel in his first catch. It wasn't long before Ryan got a bite with just a little bread and brought up a small spot.  He posed for the photo and then they released it back to swim with its friends.  Bumpy and Daddy also reeled in fish.

After catching the fish, Ryan soon lost intrest and just wanted to walkk Chloe around.

Bel Bel's Birthday

Gloucester - Bel Bel turns 6 on the 12th.  On Saturday we celebrated her day with a fun costume party.  Ryan was so excited to wear his Superman costume.  She got cool gifts, they beat up a pinata and there was yummy cake.  After the party was over, Ryan and Bel Bel had a good time playing with her new art easel.

Fair Day

Richmond - On Saturday Mommy, Daddy and Ryan headed to Richmond to meet Mammy and Bel Bel at the State Fair.  We had a fun day visiting animals, eating fair food, playing games and collecting free stuff.  Ryan even let an alpaca eat out of his hand.  He says that was his favorite part.  Ryan and Bel Bel also tried out some tractors.

It was a fun day and nice to spend it with Mammy and Bel Bel.
