Big Boy Bed

Woodbridge - Ryan decided that he wanted one of the babies to have his baby bed and it was time for him to have a big boy bed.  On Saturday we went to Ikea to pick it up.  We had picked it out a while ago, but now it was time to bring it home.

After nap time, Ryan grabbed his Handy Manny toolbox and put on his tool belt to help Daddy assemble his bed.  He started off as a good helper, handing Daddy screws and pieces.  He soon became bored and left to watch TV.  After quite a long project, Ryan was ready to spend his first night in his very own big boy bed with his new Thomas sheets that he picked out in Target.  He climbed in his bed, layed down and spent the whole night in bed.  He stilled called for Mommy in the morning and had to be reminded that he could get out of bed on his own.  He even took his first nap in the bed on Sunday afternoon.
